Professional Objectives
Objective One: To work with a team of Americorps members in administering an educational program to promote environmental sustainability.
Activities and Resources:
Contact Save the Bay Americorps members in arranging an educational program in Rhode Island.
Work with visitors at the aquarium in order to build confidence in public speaking.
Put in a request to my supervisor to notify me of all opportunities when educational presentations take place.
Travel to a Save the Bay worksite and help administer educational program.
Evidence:
Record short video of the educational program.
Provide photos I took of the site.
Objective Two: Use my newly gained knowledge of aquaria to create and administer a fully functional animal theme pertaining to a chosen animal from the aquarium in order to gain publicity and educate visitors on the importance of set chosen animal.
Activities and Resources:
Keep an open mind about absorbing information throughout my workday.
Choose an animal for my theme and educate myself on its properties.
Think of different activity ideas and create one for use by the public.
Create 3 signs to post in different areas of the aquarium.

Provide photos of the signs I created.
Upload pictures of the completed activity.
