As a Coastal Fellow, I completed an 8 month research project followed by a professional scientific poster presentation. With
the aid of my mentor Kate Venturini, I designed and administered an online survey to green industry professionals that
measured the effectiveness of certified training programs aimed at enhancing environmental quality in Rhode Island. Results
from this survey were put into graphs to display where areas of improvement were needed to make these training programs
more effective. Below you will find my final poster that presented my results, photos from a native plant system garden I
installed in the Botanical Gardens at URI, the survey questions I sent to green industry professionals, my learning contract, and
also the cover of the book that I published during the course of my fellowship.
